Lenovo announced new additions to its Yoga line of laptops at CES 2025. They are the Yoga Book 9i and Yoga Slim 9i, but the Book 9i comes with a dual touchscreen.
Although the names suggest that these are just a base model and a thinner model, they are designed for different purposes and are very different from each other. Both devices use artificial intelligence and are portable, but the Slim 9i focuses on a clear, uninterrupted display, while the Book 9i offers more flexible multitasking capabilities.
The Yoga Slim 9i is a Copilot+ PC equipped with an Intel Core Ultra 7 258V processor and a 48 TOPS NPU. It features a 14-inch PureSight Pro 4K OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. What’s interesting about the Slim is that its under-display camera technology allows it to have a 98% screen-to-body ratio. The display is protected by impact-resistant glass.
Lenovo Yoga Book 9i is a convertible laptop with two screens and two 14-inch touch displays. There are two display options: PureSight POLED with 2.8K resolution (2880 x 1800) or PureSight Pro OLED with 4K resolution (3840 x 2400). Both displays have an aspect ratio of 16:10. Built between the screens is a 360-degree rotating soundbar with four Dolby Atmos speakers. The laptop features a portable 1.5mm silky or Yoga keyboard and a webcam. We’ve seen this type of design on a few more laptopsand this can be a useful productivity boost depending on your job.
The Yoga Book 9i is powered by Intel Core Ultra 7 processors (255H or 258V). Memory options go up to 32GB LPDDR5X, and storage options include up to 1TB PCIe Gen 4 SSD. This could be an 88Wh battery (2.8K model) or a 75Wh battery (4K model) and a 65W Type-C adapter.
The Yoga Book 9i is scheduled to release in May 2025 with a starting price of $1,999, while the Yoga Slim 9i will ship in February 2025 with an expected starting price of $1,849. Anyone interested in these models can buy them on the website. official website when they are available.
