The Oppo Reno 13 goes global – and it’s ready for caseless underwater photography!

How promised earlierOppo Reno 13 series is launching worldwide. Chinese brand announced that the Reno 13 lineup “offers flagship AI features and all-round performance to a wider audience.”

Reno 13 Pro is powered by a custom MediaTek Dimensity 8350 platform featuring a 1.5K 120Hz OLED display, a 5800mAh battery with 80W fast charging, and Adaptive Frame Booster technology for smoother gaming experience in select games. According to the company, the phone’s design is inspired by butterfly wings. It features a seamless, one-piece glass back panel and an aerospace-grade aluminum frame for enhanced durability and resistance to bending and drops. The Reno 13 series phones are lightweight yet durable. The Reno 13 Pro weighs 195 grams with a 7.55mm profile, while the Reno 13 weighs 181 grams and is 7.24mm thick in the Plume White variant. Color options include:

• Purple trail
• Graphite gray
• Glowing blue
• Horizon Blue

This series of displays delivers an immersive viewing experience with ultra-thin bezels. The Reno 13 Pro has a screen-to-body ratio of 93.8%, while the Reno 13 has a screen-to-body ratio of 93.4%. Quite respectable! Both models support HDR10+ and HD video playback, which is even better.

The Reno 13 series is designed for underwater photography thanks to its water and dust resistance. The phones are said to be able to withstand immersion up to 2 meters for 30 minutes. Moreover, they include an underwater mode with color customization and physical control buttons. This is extremely important, as colors and shades are greatly distorted under water. Speaking of photography, Oppo has equipped the Reno 13 models with a host of AI features to improve its cameras. AI Livephoto combines sharp images with smooth stabilization, while AI Editor offers tools such as sharpening, deblurring, and reflection removal. The Reno 13 Pro also features a 50MP primary camera, a 50MP telephoto camera, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 50MP selfie camera that can record 4K videos. Neat! The Reno13 series is launching in the Asia-Pacific region and plans to expand to other markets. Pricing and availability details will be announced locally, but the Reno 13 is no longer exclusive to China!
