Last week, Mark Gurman said that Apple canceled the development of her AR Glasses project after some non -impressive demonstrations for managers. With Vision Pro, he is trying his best to create his own sales impulse, on the surface of Ar, the glasses seemed the best way for products of vision. But that’s why this may not be so – at least for now.

When Vision Pro released last year, the reviewers had two general criticisms. They said:

For many, the device seemed the future, but with some current restrictions that restrain it.

Two potential reasons why Apple glasses will not appear in the near future

When considering the prospects for Apple glasses, there are two important factors that will prevent the arrival of any such product in the near future.

1. Physical restrictions
2. and other wearable Apple devices

The first item is quite simple.

Apple is already struggling to make its current AR – Vision Pro product – a fairly lightweight weight for comfortable use.

AR glasses can be a dream, but are they realistic? Not in the near future.

As soon as Apple can send Vision Pro, which weighs much less, and does not inspire accessories developed by a medical expert to make it more comfortable, then and only then the glasses can really be on the table.

But some may say: “If Apple cannot send the correct AR glasses, why not something like a competitor to Meta Ray-Ban?”

I heard many good things about META smart glasses and similar offers of competitors.

What they have in common? Their functionality is largely limited by the fact that other wearable Apple wearable devices are already offered – or in the near future they can offer.

Airpods and Apple Watch are already huge hits, and together they can do so many of what they offer current smart glasses.

Siri and ChatGPT are always available with AirPods in your ears, Siri can announce your Apple Watch, control, translation and much more on your wrist, and there are even more opportunities.

Numerous reports indicate that Apple is working on the addition of cameras to future AirPods models – a function that takes care of one of the only remaining advantages that have smart glasses.

With existing wearable devices that offer such functionality, Apple has little reason to create smart glasses until it can turn on true support of AR.

Does the day come when we all go with glasses? May be.

But first, Tech should advance enough to create a convincing product that stimulates such a cultural shift. And, by all signs, we over the course of many years from such changes.

A less capable product, such as smart glasses, can be widespread much earlier. But if Airpods and Apple Watch can offer similar functionality, will not choose these accessories and does not extort anything on the face?
