What to do! Application?
Do! is a to-do list app developed by SimplerionAvailable for Apple and Android devices. There is a premium version of the app available, but I think the free version is more than good enough for most people.
In addition to the minimalistic interface, Do! has some nice features that you won’t find anywhere else. For example, you’ll hear a scribbling sound when you mark a task as completed. This is a great alternative to many others Great apps for creating to-do lists.

How I use Do!
I mostly use paper to-do lists for my day to day tasks, but for long term projects I like to break things down and record them digitally. Do! this is my favorite app for this. The main way I organize everything is by pinning the most important projects; when swiping left I just need to tap on pin icon.
To mark tasks as completed, I simply double-tap the screen. I can do the same thing to reverse this decision if I accidentally marked something as completed but didn’t mean to.
I can also categorize tasks efficiently by choosing different colored tags as needed. Meanwhile, on the left side you can select New group and further segment all my projects. Since I like to multitask, this is a great way to quickly determine what I need for something specific.
Another nice feature of Do! is that you can set a specific time to receive notification of any task. Tap the alarm icon when creating a task to select it.
How much have I benefited from Do!
Adding Do! for my productivity stack was a great solution. Below I will share the three main ways I got out of it; I think you will also get these benefits when using the app.
1. I feel less overwhelmed.
I have made significant efforts to ensure that I stop feeling broken when I wake up; One way to do this is to figure out what I need to do every day. I can view the requirements for my long-term tasks using the Do! application.
When writing about my projects in Do!, I can keep my iPad handy while I work for reference. I’ve improved my organizational skills by using groups and tabs in the app, so I encourage you to do the same!
2. Searching for tasks is easy
The app’s search functionality varies greatly depending on your tool, but Do! definitely one of the best options in this regard. You can search by tag color or enter the task name.
Do! Shows due dates next to each task, making it much easier to refer to different tasks when needed.
3. I see a “done” list
I’ve struggled for years with not putting too much on my to-do list, and it’s only now that I feel like I’m closer to what I want. Sometimes I can feel frustrated when at the end of the day I see that there are still things on my to-do list, even though I have objectively accomplished a lot (and completed the most important tasks).
Using the Done List this is one way I try to gain some perspective. In Do! app, I can simply click the “Done” tab on the left to view completed tasks. As a result, it is much easier for me to understand how far I have progressed toward completing a project.
Do! is one of the simplest and most aesthetically pleasing to-do list apps I’ve used, and I think you’ll love it for both short-term and long-term projects. Its categorization features are very simple and you can quickly mark tasks as completed. The free version works great for most people and I highly recommend at least giving it a try.
