Dynabook launches Dynabook Chromebook C70 – a 10.1-inch convertible A rugged tablet Tailored for educational environments and designed with frequent drops and bumps in mind.
But that’s not to say its internals have been ignored, the C70 comes equipped with a MediaTek Kompanio 520 CPUup to 64GB of storage space and a range of ports.
Chromebook C70 is powered by the MediaTek Kompanio 520 processor, which delivers reliable performance for typical educational applications. It has customizable memory options of 4GB or 8GB and 32GB or 64GB storage capacity, providing ample resources for classroom tasks.
Convertible design enhances flexibility
The Chromebook C70 features a detachable WXGA touch screen (1,280 x 800 resolution) that can be used as a standalone tablet or connected to a full-featured keyboard. The tablet weighs about 563 grams (575 grams for the LTE model), while the complete setup with keyboard base is about 1,092 grams.
As for its rugged nature, the outer shell is made from non-slip thermoplastic polyurethane and includes rounded corners to help absorb impact. The keyboard also comes with reinforced keycaps to prevent them from falling if dropped. Dynabook Chromebook C70 meets MIL standard durability testing.
The device includes a dedicated rechargeable USI active electrostatic pen that is easily stored in the built-in slot and can be charged when not in use. The device has a battery life of up to 15 hours, making it ideal for full-time school use without the need for frequent charging. In addition, its dual lenses (2MP front and 5MP rear) can meet the needs of video conferencing and casual photography.
The device offers a variety of connectivity options, including one USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A port, two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C ports for power delivery and external displays, a microSD card reader, and a microphone/headphone combo jack . In addition, it supports Wi-Fi 6 (IEEE802.11ax) and Bluetooth for fast and reliable network access.
The Dynabook Chromebook C70 is currently only available in Japan, but hopefully it will launch globally soon.
