Lord has produced numerous documentaries and short films for the History Channel, Discovery Communications, and Disney. He also works in visual effects Star Wars: Deep Space Nine and battlestar galactica reboot, as well as various sci-fi TV pilots. His most recent television work was a NatGeo documentary about Tom Wolfe’s iconic books the right thing.
Tariq Malik is responsible for the editorial vision of Space.com and has been the editor-in-chief of Space.com since 2019. He has been covering space news and science for 18 years. He joined the Space.com team in 2001, first as an intern and soon became a full-time space reporter covering human spaceflight, exploration, astronomy and the night sky. In 2009, he became Editor-in-Chief of Space.com.
Tariq is an Eagle Scout (yes, he earned his Space Exploration Merit Badge), a Space Camp veteran (four times as a child, once as an adult), and rode the ultimate “vomit comet” while covering zero gravity Journey to Fire. Prior to joining Space.com, he served as a staff reporter for the Los Angeles Times, where he reported on urban and education developments. He holds journalism degrees from USC and New York University.
