This year’s first Samsung Unpacked 2025 event will be on January 22

Samsung made several announcements at CES 2025including many new ones laptops And TVsbut, as you might expect, the company will save some of the biggest news for its own event. Samsung will host its first Galaxy Unpacked event of the year on January 22, 2025 at 1:00 pm ET, where it will likely showcase the latest advancements in Galaxy AI and the new Galaxy devices it powers.

The event will take place in San Jose. as in previous yearsyou can reserve new company equipment in advance (and before it’s even officially announced) for $50 off and a chance to win a $5,000 Samsung gift card. That’s on top of Samsung’s typically generous trade-in credit—this year, the company says you can get an extra credit of up to $900 if you trade in your old device.

Given the timing of Unpacked’s release, Samsung will likely announce the Galaxy S25 series, and there’s a good chance it will use a new version. Snapdragon 8 Elite chip and has an updated design, at least on Galaxy S25 Ultra. What might be more interesting are the non-smartphone devices that Samsung may show off. According to rumors, the company already has Galaxy Ring 2 in developmentand there is a high probability that Samsung’s “Project Muhan” Android XR the headset may appear at the event.
