Puget Systems user systems have just released their list of the most reliable equipment for 2024. Puget Systems wants to recognize the best brands and models that ensured “exceptional reliability over the past year.” Nevertheless, the company noted that its list is only his experience with its partners and “does not cover the entire industry of computer equipment.”
Nevertheless, the list of the Pjuget system is quite covered, first of all, since it works with several industry brands. The company was mainly concentrated on the workstations of a desktop workstation and counter -station station and included only components with a minimum sale of 200 units.
According to the list of the company, the AMD Ryzen Threadripper 7000 and Threadripper Pro 7000WX processors were the most reliable processors, reaching a 2%failure level. Although it is relatively high compared to other types of components, this is less than half of the total processor failure, which falls 5% of the complexity of modern chips.
Conversely, graphic processors have excellent reliability, the average level of failures is only 0.68%. GPU 40 NVIDIA RTX ADA and ASUS GEFORCE RTX 40th series have a lower average failure frequency of less than 0.5%, but the Tuf Series Assus GeForce RTX 40 graphics processor reached an impressive failure rate of 0%.
Type of component | The name of the product | The total frequency of failures |
---|---|---|
CPU | AMD Ryzen Threadripper 7000 and AMD Ryzen Threadripper Pro 7000WX Series | 2% |
Graphic processor | NVIDIA RTX ADA Generation | less than 0.5% |
Graphic processor | ASUS GeForce RTX 40 SECTIONS PRO ART | less than 0.5% |
Graphic processor | ASUS GEFORCE RTX 40 Series TUF | 0% |
Motherboard | ASUS TUF B760M Plus Wi-Fi II | less than 1% |
RAM | Kingston DDR5-5600 32 GB (KVR56U46BD8-32) | 0.15% |
Repository | Kingston Kc3000 SERIES NVME SSDS (1 TB, 2 TB and 4 TB) | 0.08% |
Pips | Super Flower Headex VII Gold ATX 3.0 1000 W / 1300 W and Super Flower Headex Titanium ATX 3.0 1600 WT | 0.26% |
Motherboards have a relatively high level of failures of 4.9% for 2024, probably from the complexity of this component. Nevertheless, the ASUS TUF B760M-Plus Wi-Fi II stood out from the crowd, because during the year it suffered only two failures, which made up the level of failures by less than 1%.
Kingston also flew highly in the list of reliability of the paved, and his memory and storage received a refusal frequency of 0.15% and 0.08%, respectively. This is less than a third of the average level of refusal for RAM and the impressive 5% of the average level of refusal for storage.
Finally, three Super Flower foods were evaluated as the most reliable consumables, with a combined refusal frequency of 0.26%. PUGET Systems says that the exceptional reliability of Super Flower is the reason why it was stuck mainly with this brand in recent years.
Thus, these five brands dominated the pavement reliability list of 2024: AMD, NVIDIA, Asus, KINGSTON and SUPER FLower. So, if you create a system yourself, you can look at these companies and have some confidence that you get a relatively reliable component.
You must note that although these companies have made some specially reliable parts, they may also have some failures. For example, Puget Systems had problems with AMD Ryzen desktop processors last year. Although it was not as bad as Intel survived, he was still significant enough to be mentioned in the report.
