A new leak may give us the first proper look at nintendo switch 2.
Third-party gaming accessory manufacturer Dbrand has just announced a new product Kill switch 2 Upcoming cases nintendo switch There’s a 3D render next to the successor, which appears to be the Switch 2 inside.
At the time of writing, the accessory’s webpage is still live, showcasing a looping 360-degree animation. It gives us our best look yet at Nintendo’s yet-to-be-announced console.
Dbrand CEO Adam Ijaz said in an interview edge Following the Killswitch 2 reveal, these are “actual dimensions” of the Nintendo Switch 2, not speculation, and are based on “3D scans of real hardware.”
According to Dbrand’s measurements, the Switch 2 is larger and taller than the original Switch model and the Switch organic light emitting diodes – and previous reports – But the thickness is about the same.
Ijaz claims the console’s dimensions are 270mm wide, 116mm tall, and 14mm thick, compared to the Switch’s dimensions of 242mm x 102mm x 13.9mm.
The featured stand should also measure around 55mm, and the CEO said he “understands” that the device’s Joy-Cons are “magnetically attached” and that there’s an eject button on the back of the Joy-Cons to release them.
There’s also a new square button with the letter “C” underneath it, but Ijaz doesn’t know what it does.
Just last week, another third-party accessories company, Satisfye, also Switch 2 design leaked and the new ZenGrip 2 accessory for the console.
A trailer was released that vaguely showed off the device, which attracted attention online before the video was taken down.
