Weekly deals: Google Pixel 9 Pro and 9 Pro XL prices drop

Google Pixel 9 Pro is £100 cheaper than normal, and Amazon is offering a freebie Fitbit Versa 4. This smartwatch has a battery life of over 6 days, can be charged quickly (a 12-minute charge will last you a day), and it can provide detailed readings about your sleep and exercise. Note that you need to subscribe to the premium version to take full advantage of it.

The regular model isn’t on sale yet, but the foldable model is – with a £300 discount on the Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold.

If you want a Wear OS watch rather than the more limited software on the Versa, the Google Pixel Watch 3 is on sale, with an extra £80 off at checkout. Note that we’ve linked the LTE model, but you can also find the 45mm watch with Bluetooth for £100 cheaper.

Samsung Galaxy A55 comes with free Samsung Galaxy Fit3 – It’s a smart band rather than a watch, but it has a long battery life (up to 13 days) and a basic health and activity tracker suite.

If you want to spend a little more, you can buy the Motorola Edge 50 Pro. It’s a higher-end device with a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 (versus Exynos 1480), a higher-resolution 144Hz display (1220p+ versus 1080p+ 120Hz), a 10MP telephoto camera (67mm versus none), and a fast 4,500mAh battery with charging capabilities (125W wired and 50W wireless). It also has better water resistance (IP68 vs. IP67).

Galaxy A16 5G is Samsung’s cheapest next-generation 5G product. It has a 6.7-inch 1080p+ OLED display (90Hz) powered by Exynos 1330. .

The Motorola G85 is slightly more expensive. It has a faster 6.67-inch OLED display – 1080p+, 120Hz, 10-bit color. Other goodies include a 50MP camera with OIS (the A16’s 50MP camera doesn’t have optical stabilization) and higher-resolution ultra-wide-angle (8MP) and selfies (32MP). The battery is similar to the Samsung (5,000mAh, 30W), but the water resistance is more basic (no official IP rating).

One last thing – the Samsung Galaxy Watch7 (Bluetooth only) comes in 40mm and 44mm models. Both have advanced features like EKG, but are only available on Samsung phones. This watch uses the first 3nm chipset (Exynos W1000).
