Weekly deals: Red Magic 10 Pro arrives, Realme GT 6T and Poco F6 prices drop

The global rollout of Red Magic 10 Pro began last month. You can find it on Amazon with a 40 euro voucher. The phone has a perfectly rectangular 6.85-inch display (with a camera underneath), a 1216p+ panel with a 144Hz refresh rate and 10-bit colors. The Snapdragon 8 Elite is actively cooled by a built-in fan and has two pressure-sensitive shoulder buttons—yes, it’s a gaming phone. On the back panel there are two 50 MP cameras (wide-angle and ultra-wide-angle). Inside is a massive 7050mAh battery with 100W charging.

Realme GT 6T is a mid-range smartphone with a high-quality display, a 6.78-inch LTPO panel with 1264p+ resolution, 10-bit colors and a 120Hz refresh rate. Brightness increases to an impressive peak of 6000 nits. The phone is powered by a Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 chip, which gives the older 8 Gen 2 a run for its money. The 5,500mAh battery is larger and faster than most models, with 120W wired charging. The camera is nothing special: 50+8 MP, and the degree of protection against dust and water is only IP65.

The Poco F6 is powered by the near-flagship Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chip, which is slightly faster than the 7+ Gen 3. The phone features a 1220p+ display with 12-bit colors and Dolby Vision support. The refresh rate is 120Hz, but this is not an LTPO panel. The phone is powered by a 5,000mAh battery with 90W charging. Once again, the camera takes a step back: the main one is 50 MP and the ultra-wide-angle is 8 MP. The phone has an IP64 protection class.

Samsung Galaxy A55 is in the same price range. It is powered by an Exynos 1480 processor with AMD graphics and has a 6.6-inch 120Hz (1080p+) display. It has a better waterproof rating than models above (IP67), but the 5,000mAh battery only delivers 25W of power over USB-C. The storage can be expanded using microSD. The camera features a 50MP sensor (1/1.56-inch, while the previous two models had smaller 1/1.95-inch sensors) and a higher-resolution 12MP main camera.

Phone Nothing (2a) recently received Android 15 update. It is powered by the Dimensity 7200 Pro and a 5000mAh battery with 45W wired charging. 6.7″ OLED display with 1080p+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate and 10-bit color depth. Unlike most of the phones on this list, the (2a) features a serious ultra-wide-angle camera with a 50MP sensor coupled with a 50MP (1/1.56-inch) main camera.

The cheaper model in this family is the CMF Phone 1. Its 6.67-inch 1080p+ (120Hz) display and Dimensity 7300 chipset allow it to punch above its weight. Replaceable back covers add some customization options (the 5,000mAh battery is not replaceable, however). The phone has a 50MP main camera and lacks an ultra-wide-angle camera.

Alternatively, the Samsung Galaxy A16 5G promises an impressive 6 years of software support. The Exynos 1330 is not the fastest chipset right now, and in six years it may have performance issues. Despite its cheapness, the A16 has an ultra-wide-angle camera (5 MP) in addition to the main 50 MP one. Like the CMF phone, there is a microSD slot. This model even has an official dust and water resistance rating (IP54), which some manufacturers choose to ignore in this segment.
