What’s New on Prime Video in January 2025

In addition to the NFL Wild Card game (set for January 11 or 12), Prime Video will headline an original comedy film to start the new year. You are cordially invited (Jan 30). Will Ferrell plays the father of a bride whose wedding venue has been double-booked by another bride and her wedding planner sister (played by Reese Witherspoon).

Also in the lineup for a second season Drilling rig (2 January) a thriller set on an oil rig in the distant North Sea; police drama premiere On call (Jan. 9), a new series starring Troian Bellisario as a veteran officer tasked with training a rookie played by Brandon Larracuente; and the third season of Tracy Oliver’s comedy Harlem (January 23).

Finally, Jennifer Lopez will star opposite Jharrel Jerome in the film Unstoppable (Jan. 16), based on the true story of Arizona State wrestler and NCAA champion Anthony Robles, who was born with one leg.
