X raises Premium Plus subscription pricing by almost 40 percent

X has significantly increased subscription prices for top users in multiple regions to help boost creator spending on the platform. Premium Plus price increase effective December 21 According to Xincreasing the price in the U.S. from $16 to $22 per month, or increasing the price of an annual subscription from $168 to $229.

Many European countries such as France, Germany and Spain were also affected by similar price increases, with monthly prices rising from 16 euros to 21 euros. The higher pricing will apply to new subscribers immediately, and existing users will still be able to take advantage of current rates until January 20. Basic subscription levels of X are not affected.
