Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition Trailer Sheds Light On Its Story
Nintendo has released a new trailer telling the story Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition on the switch.
Currently slated for release on March 20, 2025The game is an enhanced version of the classic Wii U game with improved graphics and all-new story content. The new trailer, just over 3 and a half minutes long, sheds light on the game’s plot, background, and characters to get you up to speed ahead of its release. There’s also a small hint of additional content that returning veterans can expect.
And are these some new areas at the end? Hm, intriguing…
Here is the official description from Nintendo:
“The year is 2054. The Earth has been destroyed by an intergalactic war between two alien races, and humanity is on the verge of destruction. As a member of BLADE, you must fight powerful opponents in a robust combat system, and pilot powerful giant robots called Skells in a combat system that is as deep as you want it.”
The addition of Xenoblade Chronicles X to Switch will mean that the entire RPG franchise can now be played on one system (soon to be two – thank you, backwards compatibility!). This includes Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition, Xenoblade Chronicles 2, Xenoblade Chronicles 3and now Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition (plus all related DLC).
