Xiaomi Unveils 14″ and 16″ RedmiBook (2025) with 12-core Intel Core 200H CPU

Xiaomi has officially unveiled its 2025 RedmiBook laptop lineup with 14- and 16-inch screen diagonals. While the launch is limited to China for now, it is highly likely that the laptop will hit the international market as well. Essentially, both variants are powered by a Core 5 220H processor based on Raptor Lake-H Refresh. The chip has 12 cores and 16 threads with clock speeds ranging from 2 to 4.9 GHz. There is no dedicated graphics support, and the system uses the Iris Xe iGPU, which is significantly slower than the new Arc iGPUs found in the Arrow Lake and Lunar Lake lineups.

The laptops are relatively thin and light, measuring 15.9mm in thickness and weighing 1.36kg and 1.65kg respectively. Xiaomi advertises 19.05 hours of battery life thanks to the 72Wh battery, but real-world performance will almost certainly be slightly worse. The 14-inch model comes with a 2.8K LCD display, while the 16-inch version, interestingly, comes with a 2.5K display. Both displays have a 120Hz refresh rate, which is definitely a welcome addition. The product starts at $640 for the 14-inch variant with a 16GB + 512GB configuration, while the 16-inch version costs about $30 more.
