Yaber unveils a pair of slick new projectors, including its first laser UST, at CES 2025
Chinese home entertainment projector Manufacturer Yaber presented today a couple of new offers on CES 2025The world’s largest trade show for consumer technology. These include the bright and portable K300, the first laser ultra-short throw (UST) projector, and the cute and functional L2 Plus. Both projectors have Full HD resolution and JBL audio.
Yaber K300s
Yaber K300s marks the company’s first foray into an attractive market. STU projector in the market as home entertainment consumers look for high-quality, affordable ways to bring big-screen viewing to their homes without having to rearrange furniture to do so. Unlike standard projectors, which can inconveniently take up valuable living room, UST space projectors can project a huge image onto a wall or screen from just a few inches away, allowing users to frequently place them on existing media devices.
The K300’s maximum image size of 100 inches can be achieved from just 9 inches away (with a 0.18:1 throw ratio) from its 1,000 ANSI lumen triple RGB laser light source. Color and contrast performance are also excellent, with the K300s delivering over 150% of the wide NTSC (National Television Standards Committee) color gamut and displaying a 1500:1 contrast ratio. All this means that the K300s is capable of producing bright and accurate colors with decent black levels in a variety of lighting situations, although we won’t know for sure until we test the projector ourselves.
With native 1080p resolution and 4K decoding support (meaning it can convert a 4K source to 1080p resolution), whatever you watch through the K300s is either streaming apps and services from the built-in Google TV operating system or from an external streaming deviceit will look great. You can even mirror your phone’s screen to the K300s.
Additionally, Yaber says, with two built-in JBL 15-watt speakers tuned by renowned audio manufacturers, the K300s offers deep 50Hz bass and Dolby support. The 16-degree tilt of the speakers “helps project sound clearly, avoiding any obstructions and providing a more balanced sound experience.”
Another big pain point for projector users is setup, but the K300s solves that too, thanks to what Yaber calls “3-second autofocus” and automatic keystone correction, both of which will help get the image on the wall or screen. straight and correctly oriented. There’s even an infrared sensor that turns off the light if pets or children get in the way, keeping their eyes protected.
There is currently no information on availability or pricing for the Yaber K300, but we will update this post as soon as we know more.
