Yakuza’s Kiryu Actor Stars in Action Platformer Rusty Rabbit This April on PS5
Rusty bunnyside-scrolling action-adventure game from NetEase and Nitroplus, coming to PS5 on April 17, 2025.
Although there is an English version of the trailer with a release date, we have embedded the Japanese version because the Japanese dub stars voice actor Takaya Kuroda, best known in the West as the deep voice of Kazuma Kiryu in Yakuza/Like a dragon.
Kuroda voices Stamp, a fluffy white rabbit who pilots a robotic harvester in a post-apocalyptic world. While searching for valuable scrap metal on Smokestack Mountain, he finds the trail of his estranged daughter and begins searching for her.
The game plays like a mixture of scrap block smashing, platforming, and fighting various robotic villains in a Metroidvania style.
Mechs can be customized with different weapons and tools, meaning you’ll be able to explore different areas depending on what you equip.
It all looks pretty cool, but we’re mainly here for the Japanese voice acting, to be honest. Hopefully the game can live up to Kuroda’s loud tone.
